ROBOTS ON MARS - India
Dark Arts Coffee
India, Servarayan Hills
Altitude: 1500 - 1600 masl
Home to three national parks and countless wildlife sanctuaries, the Eastern Ghats mountain range runs parallel to the Bay of Bengal on the Indian east coast. In the southern region lie the Servarayan hills where the Cauvery Peak coffee is grown. Originally planted by the Short brothers in the early 20th century, it was taken over by the Rajah family 70 years ago and remains a family-owned business to this day. Taking advantage of the loamy, lateritic soil, the Rajah family grows high-quality coffee with medium acidity and a good body making it perfect for espresso.
A milky mouthfeel, with chocolate and sweet almond notes
