Finca Rumania is Located in Caton el Guineo, El Congo, Departamento de Santa Ana. It was established as a coffee farm plantation in 1938, by Mr Alfredo Mena Lagos, father of Mrs Julia Rosa Mena de Lima, member of Acatenango a family society that runs and operates the business. Coffee from Rumania is processed until parchment in the same family own mill name Balcanes. Coffee is now processed in different drying methods as required, from very traditional processes dried in clay patios, or using African beds. Balcanes mill is located within a 5 minutes distance from the plantation, very good to start the coffee process almost immediately after cut.
