Produced by C. Dorman Rwanda, this naturally processed coffee is grown by 603 smallholder farmers in the Kanjongo Sector of Nyamasheke District, situated between 1,830 and 1,950 metres above sea level. High-quality red cherries are sorted and floated in water tanks to remove defects before being dried on shaded mesh tables for 35 to 40 days, with regular turning every 30 to 40 minutes and middle-heaping during peak sunshine to protect the beans. Beyond production, C. Dorman supports the local community and environment through agricultural inputs, seedling distribution, local school renovations, and job creation, whilst maintaining Rainforest Alliance and C.A.F.E. Practices certifications.
