Finca Los Angeles is a stunning 23-manzana Pacamara-only farm tucked into El Salvador’s Ahuachapán mountain range. It’s also a cornerstone for lifting the whole region with it: run by Los Naranjos Group under Sigfredo Corado, a retired agronomy professor, the farm sits within the Renacer (“Reborn”) Program, an on-the-ground coffee field school funded by Raíces and supported by Catholic Relief Services where Sigfredo and six technicians train small-to-medium producers in restorative, high-quality farming focused on the “4 R’s” of soil health (Right Source, Right Dose, Right Place, Right Moment). Since 2021 the program has grown to 60 students who learn twice monthly at sister farm Finca Noruega, test ideas on communal plots, and then take proven practices back home, creating a real pathway to better yields, healthier land, and stronger livelihoods; Los Angeles itself embodies that approach, herbicide-free for a decade, carefully shaded and wind-protected, and even managed day-to-day by school graduates—so every harvest doesn’t just produce exceptional Pacamara, it actively builds skills, jobs, and resilience in the community around it.
